The Couvent des Minimes

The Couvent des Minimes Hôtel & Spa has undergone a complete metamorphosis, sublimating its historic heritage and adding a more contemporary style. The challenge was considerable: to magnify the heritage of this convent built in 1613 for the Minimes nuns, dissolved during the Revolution and left unoccupied until the Franciscan sisters moved in in 1862, leaving only in 1999. Now a hotel and spa, it is steeped in history, with its chapel, bell tower, cloister and terraced Way of the Cross still intact. ©Think utopia

A spectacular spa

A spectacular spa

Inspired by the natural surroundings, the Spa is the perfect place to unwind. The 2,500 m2 spa is divided into two zones: dry and wet. Collections of Camarat and Southampton teak loungers and Copacabana chilis surround the pool. Roma umbrellas take pride of place, as does the Exeter modular sofa. ©Think utopia
