
Tectona 2025 prize x Villa Noailles
The Design Parade Festival, has established itself as a major event for the promotion of contemporary design among the general public and professionals. In this spirit of excellence and support for young creation, Tectona has reaffirmed́ its unwavering commitment in 2023 by launching the Tectona Design Parade Prize, This prize distinguishes and supports emerging talent, thus contributing to the effervescence of the artistic and cultural scene.

The bench of tomorrow
The 2025 edition, under the theme of the "bench of tomorrow", invited́ ten young talents to design their vision of this emblematic object. After rewardinǵ Gabriel Hafner the previous year, this year it is Danish designer Johan Karrebæk Thun who wins the Tectona Design Parade Prize. © Clément Harpillard

Johan Karrebæk Thun, winner of the Tectona Prize
Raised on the outskirts of Copenhagen, closé to a forest park, Johan Karrebæk Thun cultivated a deep appreciation of the delicate balance between nature and built form from an early age. This open environment, in his own words, made him more aware of his physical surroundings, naturally guiding him towards the world of design. ©Luc Bertrand
