These two new creations are made of ash. A wood that is lighter than teak and which, because of its density and extreme solidity, was traditionally used in the French and Western European countryside to make tool handles and farm furniture. Ash is light in colour and can be protected by a coat of paint or varnish, if required.
With its slender design, the Siesta deckchair inspires feelings of freedom. It is light, easy to fold and unfold, hence can be placed anywhere at anytime as your whims desire. It has three reclining positions offering total comfort whether you’re reading, having a relaxed conversation or taking a nap. The Batyline canvas is resistant to rain and sunshine. The Siesta hammock is absolutely essential for the outdoor lifestyle, the ideal way of protecting yourself from blazing sunshine in a shaded oasis. It is simple to set up: just tie the ropes around two trees or two other sturdy supports 3-5 m away from each other. Ash wood provides structural solidity and holds the Batyline fabric.
