How to replace your Roma parasol cover

A few words about the history of Tectona's Roma parasols
Tectona's parasols are traditionally made, they are the legend of Tectona. Our parasols are made in a workshop where an Italian family has been working for four generations. The parasol cloths are waterproofed and sewn by hand. The ribs are carefully finished by hand and the pole is made of pine. Wind resistance is ensured by a cast steel support and a ventilation bellows located at the top of the canvas. The hardwood nuts of the umbrellas ensure the solidity of the whole. They are finished by hand with a water-based varnish applied with a brush. The forks are hand-cut and reinforced at the ends.

Tectona offers several ranges of parasols: in total, more than 20 models of parasols to enjoy the beautiful days! Tectona's parasol canvases are available in 12 colors. The ecru covers are made of cotton canvas and the colored covers are made of Sunbrella, a very weather resistant material that does not fade.
To replace a parasol cloth yourself, count on about 2 hours for a small parasol. No technical skills are required, except a little patience, a cutter, pliers and a hammer. Thread and needle are provided to make 6 stitches.
Our solutions for the re-covering of your parasol
Tectona offers 2 service solutions for the re-covering of your paraso
- Solution 1 : Tectona sends you the new canvas and you replace it yourself. The delay is about 1 week for unbleached canvas and 4 to 6 weeks for colored canvas. We send you the canvas, the apple, the replacement instructions and all the elements you will need to install your new canvas. Tectona also provides you with a CANOPY REPLACEMENT TUTORIAL.
- Solution 2 : Tectona collects your parasol, replaces its canvas in its workshops and delivers your parasol with its new canvas. The delay is 4 to 6 weeks. If your parasol requires additional repairs (replacement of ribs, nuts...), we will send you a personalized estimate and will carry out the work after your acceptance.
